Mission Statement


At Harmony Investments, our mission is to deliver superior property and construction management. Our approach is to balance customer satisfaction and financial performance. We accomplish this by creating a positive and rewarding environment that motivates our most valuable resource, our people.



Established in 1993, Harmony Investments, Inc. was founded by Mark F. Garcea and Page S. Johnson, II with a focus on acquiring and managing various commercial and industrial real estate properties. The portfolio quickly grew to include office buildings, shopping centers, residential apartments, sports franchises, and hotels.

Most notably, the company has owned the Hampton Roads Mariners professional soccer team and the Hampton Roads Admirals hockey club, and still maintains partial ownership in the Norfolk Tides baseball club. Garcea and Johnson were instrumental in bringing to fruition the building of the Virginia Beach Sportsplex soccer stadium.

During 2004 and 2005 the company added a number of hotels and restaurants to their portfolio, which resulted in the formalization of a 'hotel management' division and on January 1, 2007, Harmony Hospitality, Inc. became its own entity, focused on overseeing the hotel and restaurant management. The hotel division has exceeded all original expectations and continues to grow at a brisk pace. Facilitating this growth is a core of dedicated, experienced hoteliers that have been recruited in overseeing the Hospitality portfolio. With multiple acquisitions and new construction projects in the pipeline, Harmony Hospitality is well on its way to becoming the preeminent hotel management company in Hampton Roads. Harmony Investments provides a full range of property and construction management services with the goal to add the highest possible investment return for the property owners. Harmony has had great success in converting residential apartments to condominiums, developing multi-family housing and commercial and residential development options for vacant land.
